The re-employment program is a FREE service offered by ESWP on an ongoing basis to all members and Affiliated Technical Societies members. These individuals are eligible to submit a resume and have a one paragraph summary of their qualifications published below. Resume 2015-01: Engineering Manager / Project Manager with broad experience in design of custom solutions and products for full turnkey and equipment supply only projects for power plant and industrial projects. Proven track record of management and development of medium to large staffs-- Directed multi-disciplined engineering department. Extensive interface with customers during proposal and project phases. Strong background in manufacturing processes and application of stainless steels—Provided technical leadership. Project Manager for engineering work on upgrading of systems for a Swedish power plant.

Resume 2015-02: EIT looking for entry-level Civil Engineering employment. Educated electrical engineer
taking civil engineering classes and working as a land surveyor and CADD operator. Experienced in database design and computer programming, my ability to touch-type can automate manual processes and complete technical documentation with accuracy and speed. Not afraid to put on work boots and get my hands dirty outdoors.

Resume 2015-03: BSME searching for entry-level Mechanical Engineering employment.  December 2014 graduate of the University of Dayton with a 3.4 major GPA.  Worked three full time co-op rotations with Wyle Laboratories and GE Aviation dealing with inventory control and safety.  Experienced with AutoCAD Inventor and basic FEA, but willing to rapidly transition to Solidworks.  Strong interpersonal skills from sports team captainship and ex-patriot foreign living experience.  Willing to travel and work in a competitive team environment.

Fluids Engineer

SMS USA LLC, located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is a world leader in the supply of equipment for the metallurgical industry. We are seeking a full-time fluid system engineer. The candidate’s responsibilities include hydraulic, pneumatic and cooling water circuit design, commissioning, and troubleshooting as well as fluid system hardware vendor supervision.

Candidates must be able to read hydraulic, pneumatic and cooling water, etc. schematics and Bills of Material and have a basic understanding of fluid system circuits. Candidates must be familiar with commercially available fluid system components such as pumps, valves, filters, accumulators, etc. This position requires “hands on” fluid system commissioning skills with limited travel and short-term field or site startup assignments in North America.

A two- or four-year mechanical or hydraulic engineering degree is required. CAD system skills such as AutoCAD and PRO/E CREO are highly desirable. The ability to configure new fluid systems and estimate costs for project proposals is also highly desirable but not required.
